Exciting News: ASDAN Programmes Now Available Across Our Homes

We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to achieve their best, and we are proud to make this a reality across all our homes. We are delighted to announce that we have been approved to deliver a suite of ASDAN programmes across all our homes, giving the young people in our care access to over 30 programmes designed to help them grow, learn and flourish.

Our new offer includes the ASDAN Personal Development Programmes (PDP), Key Steps, Short Courses and Lifeskills Challenge. These programmes place young people at the heart of their own learning, building confidence, recognising personal strengths, and broadening experiences through a rich variety of challenges. Achievement is formally recognised through certification at 60, 120 and 180 hours, giving every young person something tangible to be proud of.

Independent living programme

A particular highlight of this new provision is the ASDAN Living Independently Short Course, which has been specifically designed to support looked-after children as they transition from education into adulthood. Developed in collaboration with local authorities, this programme closely aligns with our wider strategy to improve outcomes and strengthen support for young people as they prepare to leave care and step into adult life.

This approval, coupled with our other provisions for children and young people's education, extracurricular recognition and learning, reflects our continued commitment to ensuring every young person in our care has the tools, support and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
